How to make the rim (optional): rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a coupe glass, then dip the glass into a mixture of equal parts cinnamon and sugar

How to make the cocktail: mix all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker glass, then strain into a coupe glass. Alternatively, you may strain into a rocks glass fitted with a large cube of ice

  3. Store the syrup in the fridge—it’ll stay good for up to a month.
